We always talk about product but the same attention is rarely given to the packaging it arrives in.

For SEVENFRIDAY, “industrial” doesn’t just refer to our design language but refers to the mechanical watch itself. Machines are inherently industrial so why wouldn’t our watches be?

When coming up with a way to package our little machines, we took inspiration from the boxes of bigger ones. In the past and in some cases to this day, machinery is shipped in large wooden crates. Apart from being the packaging of choice for all the coolest machinery out there, it’s more sustainable than plastic packaging and in our size, also re-usable.

If it’s good enough for formula 1 cars, its good enough for us ; )

We’ve seen our customers use the little crate as a pencil holders, flower pots, storage, or decoration. In some cases people have painted and pimped out the wooden boxes and our off-series crates are particularly adored for their unique colours and designs.
